She’s been protesting the release of her XXX home movie “Kendra Exposed,” but it seems Kendra Wilkinson has reconsidered her objection. The “Girls Next Door” babe has been offered a $100,000 down payment from Vivid Entertainment for the rights to the tape, and she’ll also make 50% of the sales.

Justin Frye, Kendra’s ex and co-star on the tape, was also given a tidy $100,000 for the flick, though he won’t collect any commission from the sales. Of the former couple, an insider told press, “It was a bad break-up... as soon as Hef took her, she was gone. But Justin knew what he had and obviously waited for the optimum moment to sell it. He waited until Kendra's fame hit a certain level... he was striking while the iron is hot, if you like. This was a well orchestrated plan."

She’s been fighting to keep it from being released, and now Vivid Entertainment has delayed the street date of “Kendra Exposed” while legal issues are resolved. According to FOX Pop Tarts, the “Girls Next Door” babe is desperate to put the kibosh on her XXX sex tape, though the racy cover of the DVD has already been leaked.

Kendra is said to have made the video back when she was 18-years-old, long before she met and fell in love with her husband Hank Baskett. And though they’re the proud parents of little Hank IV, Kendra is said to be nervous that the sex tape will compromise her marriage.

Vivid CEO and founder Steve Hirsch says he is positive that he has all the rights he needs to release the DVD. Hirsch says reviewing their legal position, they remain confident of their right to distribute the video adding, “We believe this could be our all time best-selling celebrity tape.”The legal battle over the release of the sex tape will reportedly be filmed for her reality TV show, ‘Kendra.’

It may be that the protests are a bit hypocritical since Radar Online is reporting that Wilkinson and her former manager actually tried to sell the tape in 2008.A celebrity sex tape broker, Kevin Blatt, told Radar Online, "Back in June of 2008, a guy who said he was Kendra's manager, Matt Cohen, came up to me and said that she had a sex tape and was willing to sign off on it." Only in Hollywood would celebrity sex tape broker be a real job.

Are all of the protests just for publicity, trying to calm the fears of the E! advertisers? It can't possibly be legal to sell a sex tape without the participant's permission. You can't publish a picture or a video without the subject signing a release form. It would be interesting to see if Vivid has any documentation that proves that Wilkinson approved the sale of the video.

Former Playboy model Kendra Wilkinson secretly set up the release of her homemade sex tape and then publicly threatened legal action against the distributors, RadarOnline reported Monday. The gossip website claimed the U.S. reality star had her former manager Matt Cohen meet with porn company Vivid in 2008 to discuss the release of the tape that featured the model aged 18, with her then boyfriend.

Celebrity sex tape broker Kevin Blatt told the website: "Back in June of 2008, a guy who said he was Kendra's manager, Matt Cohen, came up to me and said that she had a sex tape and was willing to sign off on it.

"I deal with a lot of unsavory people in my industry and for someone to approach me and say Kendra has a tape and is willing to sign off on it while she was living at the mansion, I thought, 'No way is this true.' But in this case it was."He alleged the encounter took place in Las Vegas at the Hard Rock Hotel during the AVN awards show for the porn industry.

Wilkinson, who is married to NFL Philadelphia Eagles player Hank Baskett, then asked her lawyer Yael E. Holtkamp to publicly appear to fight the release of the tape, claimed RadarOnline. Wilkinson has refused to address the website’s claims.
