I remember back in third grade this rather noticeably short newer kid in school, Nix Bickerby, announced that he was no longer going to be short. He was now tall. It all seemed kind of staged, like some kind of speech prepared by his little kid mental health counselor, but he said it with such conviction, that is took the rest of us quite by surprise, and for like three minutes or so of suspended reality, we all thought Nix was tall.

It must have been a glorious brief moment in time for him, right before we picked him up and tossed him in the trash can, on Sloppy Joe day no less. The point is, you can be anything you want to be in this life, the real trick is trying to convince others of the same.

At some point, Kendra Wilkinson decided to make herself over from trashy topless Playboy party and former stripper girl into wife and mom and advice giver to millions of women who suddenly forgot all about that previous stuff that we personally loved her for. Since we never judged her for her former life, we totally and completely reserve the right to mock her current state of being. And mostly just because we miss her sweet petite nekkid body. The tease of which she flashed in Miami over the weekend in a see-through thingee over her bikini while filming her reality show, 'The Totally Fake Kendra' or something like that I think.

Los Angeles, CA – Celebrity watchers have for the last few years derided and engaged the onslaught of sex tapes that have been appearing on their computer screens. Pamela Anderson, Fred Durst, and Vince Neil are just a few of the high profile names that have appeared in such scandals but for them the tapes were largely sources of embarrassment, coming after they had already achieved success, no matter how humble. Recent sex tapes have had a different vibe with names such as Kim Kardashian and Paris Hilton having little or no public profile before the tapes and becoming full-fledged celebrities afterwards.

Like casting couches before them, sex tapes have become an avenue to stardom for many possessed of limited talents. While certainly some of the videos are a result of indiscretions and embarrassing mistakes, the embrace by the featured personality has become a calculated path to success meaning that many more are likely on the way. Case in point the recent revelation of a sex tape featuring marginal celebrity Kendra Wilkinson who at one point dated Playboy chief Hugh Hefner. The contents of the tape have not yet been revealed, and Wilkinson is reportedly fighting the release of the video, but thus far it’s not completely clear who might be interested in watching the video should it come to market.

“The video is private and highly confidential taken for private use and not for public disclosure. Any exploitation of the video would be a gross violation of Miss Wilkinson's constitutional and common law rights of privacy,” Wilkinson’s lawyer wrote to Adult company Vivid. The letter did not suggest who might actually be interested in seeing the video.

Vivid for its part defended their right to distribute the video and fought back with legal threats of their own. Vivid has long been one of the leading adult entertainment companies but has been in decline for a number of years due to internet piracy and questionable creative choices.

“Obviously Wilkinson is going to fight the release of this tape. That’s part of the modus operandi when it comes to sex tapes. You feign protest and then reap the rewards of fame and money without looking like that’s what you were trying to do. It’s a slightly overused ploy at  this point but is still fairly effective, particularly when it comes to small scale situations like this where the analysis isn’t quite as severe,” said Scrape TV Business analyst Ken Green. “However the real question here is in what the intrinsic and material value of this tape will be. I can’t imagine that there are a whole lot of Kendra Wilkinson fans out there so the audience will be limited. She’s a beautiful woman no doubt but there are a lot of beautiful women in sex tapes all over the internet, mostly for free, so why would anyone want to pay for this? You have to wonder what edge Vivid believes they have in this.”The company is believed to keep a lawyer on retainer meaning that the legal costs might be minimal which could boost the ultimate value of the tape.

“If Hugh Hefner were in the tape it would be worth a mint despite the fact that he’s older than, well older than a whole bunch of things but at least he has celebrity. The reason these things are successful is because people want to see someone they know having sex. It’s easy to watch a stranger having sex and altogether less compelling,” continued Green. “Of course they could normalize her somewhat and create a small market. They can make her into a slight celebrity through this ‘controversy’ then they might have something, but that is a big question.”

Reality television star Kendra Wilkinson was spotted filming her new show, Kendra On Top, in Miami on Friday afternoon with a camera crew. The former Playboy Playmate looked like she was enjoying the warm Florida sun as she was dressed in a white tank top and short denim shorts along with a neon pink peek-a-boo bra.

I’m surprised at how Kendra still manages to stay popular when so many other stars and their reality shows seem to get canceled after a few seasons or even in some instances, a few episodes. It must be her warm, friendly personality and that great laugh of hers that keeps her fans tuning in!

The former Playboy mansion dweller has taken to Twitter to discuss which parts of her enviable body are uneven, from the chest down. "I think my right butt cheek is bigger than my left butt cheek," Kendra Wilkinson tweeted Tuesday. "Oh and my right boob is sooo much bigger than my left boob. I'm so off. Lolol."

Reporting on Kendra Wilkinson's "lopsided" body People magazine called the star "harshly self-critical" of her physique, noting the 26-year-old recently also told them, "I have no talent. I have nothing to offer."

Yet despite their outlook on her body imperfection tweets, fans of the former Girls Next Door star reacted to her statements with humor and spoke out to commiserate about their own asymmetry. In regards to Kendra Wilkinson's boobs, one Twitter user replied, "@KendraWilkinson my left boob starts higher than my right. Ur not the only off one," while another joked, "You have boobs!?!"

The response to the rear discussion was much the same. In reply to Kendra's candid butt cheek confession, one fan wrote, "Oh Kendra you are the greatest, I love you!" Another empathized, writing, "Me too! But mine is opposite- my left is bigger than my right lol!!"

Wilkinson, who welcomed son Hank Baskett IV in late 2009, admitted to being "shocked" by how much her body changed during pregnancy and after giving birth, but has since gone on to pose in skimpy swimwear for multiple publications. Cool. And even though we have already watched the buxom blonde’s ups and downs through five seasons of “Girls Next Door,” four seasons of her spin-off show “Kendra,” and one season of “Dancing with the Stars,” Wilkinson insists “Kendra on Top” will portray the real Kendra.

“This season we’re stepping it up. More characters on the show, and I have a lot more friends involved,” Wilkinson continued. “We’re settled in L.A. now; we’re not all over the country, so we are sharing who Kendra truly is now. I do have sides people have never seen before.”For someone who has posed naked in Playboy a few dozen times, that would indeed be surprising.

The Girls Next Door erudite spent the better part of the first four barely legal years inflating her tubes, then exhibiting them to the world by way of television and magazines and the occasional leaked sex tape.
