Playboy tycoon Hugh Hefner's ex-girlfriend Kendra Wilkinson has revealed her battle with depression since becoming a mom led to severe suicidal thoughts.
The "Girls Next Door" star and former playmate, who has twice attempted to kill herself and was once hospitalized for depression, tells In Touch magazine her mental problems almost ended her marriage to football star Hank Baskett.
She says, "I felt devastated, helpless - like I was in a black hole.... I was a mess and a wreck... I felt like nobody cared about me anymore. I had so much anger inside. "I even thought about harming myself. I just threatened (suicide) a lot. I felt like that was my only way to really get to Hank and to show it."
Wilkinson details her battle with postpartum depression in her new biography "Being Kendra," and admits things got so bad at home she couldn't sleep with her husband anymore. She adds, "I'd be like, 'Hank, go! Go away!' I didn't feel right. Hank would take the baby and leave the room... Hank and I slept in separate bedrooms.
"There was no way I could talk about what I was feeling because I didn't know what it was. So we just had to stay apart."Wilkinson reveals she eventually sought counseling, which she credits with helping to save her marriage.
